0 New embral live release
When embral (Adam Holquist and I) went on the road last November, our intention was to play no existing music, and to essentially treat the tour as a mobile R&D lab for the next studio release, recording every night and seeing which bits began to take shape.
This is not the next studio release. This is a ‘calling card’. It gives some hints at where the new music is heading, without (we hope) giving away too much.
Speaking of “the next studio release”, the music for the new studio release has been recorded and I’m in the process of mixing and mastering it. The plan is to get the music out in the Fall with a support tour in November.
In the mean time, enjoy a very cold night in Kansas City.

Guitarist D.Miñoza https://dminoza.wordpress.com/ is a sound artist working primarily in the areas of drone, noise, minimalism and free improvisation.
“Deep, majestic sound design combines with eerie drones and what I can only describe as esoteric melodies, forming a moody yet beautiful sonic melange.”
-Darrel Burgan (StillStream Net Radio)

dRachEmUsiK combines a plethora of nuanced techniques in order to create groovy and meditative soundscapes; giving structure to improvisation.
This style manifests itself into an organic and natural composition of a free flowing design resulting in improvisations and structured pieces ranging from ambient to glitch-groove, noise to nujazz.

Hosted by Kevin Kissinger and Shane Morris, the KC Regional electro-music.com festival encompasses all styles of electronic music, DIY instruments, performances, collaborations, and demonstrations.
The KC Regional formed from the increasing need for a live performance outlet for experimental electronic music in the mid-western states. The festival is not limited to participants in the region alone, but does seek to consolidate and network with artists in the extended area. The intention is to create a cooperative community where artists and enthusiasts participate and benefit together.
Hosting both stereo and 5.1 surround sound, the Walnut Creek Clubhouse is a wonderful setting just of the Missouri River with the KC skyline on the horizon. The venue has large vaulted wooden ceilings, wonderful lighting, comfy couches, and great acoustics.
